Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Its pale salmon color offers a fresh nose of red fruit, currant and pomegranate. In the mouth, this wine presents a nice balance and has a good envelope. It is frank, full and distinstive with a coated finish.

Light salmon

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Do you know ?

There are two methods for rosé wine: the direct gentle pressing of the grapes after the harvest, and pink bleeding that is to macerate the berries in vats.

Domain and appellation

  • Castel Frères

All the sweetness of Provence! Located in the back country of Saint-Tropez, in the heart of Provence, the MASFLEUREY vineyard enjoys an exceptional location.

    • Terroir: The vineyard is based on siliceous clay and sandy soils with schist outcrops.

    • Vinification: Traditional. It rests on the delicate touch, a few hours before a carefully con-trolled light pressing. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out at low temperature (17-18 ° C) to retain the freshness of the aromas.
