Powerful bouquet

The nose is frank and complex, opening with notes of fresh pepper, blackcurrant and herbs, with a hint of mocha.

The palate is frank and racy, with beautiful balance, roundness and a pleasant finish of fresh spices.

The precise and harmonious finish confirms its lovely character and clear expression of the terroir.

Features

Built under Louis XIII, Château de Pennautier has been a family estate since 1620, later extended by Le Vau, the architect of the Palace of Versailles.

Located just a few kilometres from the Cité de Carcassonne, the château, shaped by the history of Languedoc, is listed as a Historic Monument.
