This dark garnet-colored wine releases fragrances of prunes, tobacco, and nutmeg. The supple attack leaves space for notes of red fruits, black fruits and nutmeg. These features come together in a good balance before a tasteful finish that distinguishes itself with its full-bodied taste, its elegance and its nice persistency.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Château La Grâce Dieu Les MenutsBetween tradition and modernity, the Château La Grâce Dieu Les Menuts makes every effort to preserve the character of its soils. The care given to viticulture as well as winemaking techniques highlight a geological diversity and a specific microclimate that designate the Grand Cru.
- Terroir: The field of 13 hectares is based on clay and limestone soils.
- Viticulture: The vines are pruned "à la bordelaise" for a single or double Guyot. The budding leaf removal is treated with a special care in the vineyard. Green harvest are practiced on the vine during the summer. The harvest is manual.
- Vinification: Fermentation and maceration are patchy. Breeding is done at 50% in tanks and 50% in barrels.
