Fruity and light


Bright pale rosé color with silvery reflections, frank nose, hint of citrus fruits, pomelos, then a hint of dill. Balanced in the mouth, small character on lingonberries, frank finish.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Named after the semi-precious stone "Tourmaline", our bottle reveals our Côtes de Provence like a jewel.

Domain and appellation

  • Barton & Guestier

    Region: Provence, in the South-East of France, in the valley of the "Maures". Soil: Clay and limestone with schist.

    Climate: Mediterranean, very sunny, dry and windy.

    Vinification: Produced from a rigorous selection of the harvest on the most beautiful terroirs of Provence and vinified by us in our harvest house in Vidauban. Meticulous care is taken during the harvest to avoid oxidation and to preserve a light colour - de-stemming - skin maceration - pressing - alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature (16-18°C).

    Maturing : On fine lees for 2 months before bottling.
