Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is frank and expressive, opening with notes of raspberry coulis, black pepper and herbs, before revealing hints of roasted plum.
The attack is fleshy, supported by a beautiful envelope and a frank and delicious finish on red fruits.
The palate is full-bodied and fruity, seducing with its roundness and richness.
The balanced and persistent finish prolongs the pleasure with notes of ripe fruit.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

DOMAINE HAUT-LIROU
The vines are planted on the southern slopes of the Pic Saint-Loup, at an altitude of 300 metres, on terraced vineyards with a unique terroir.
The soils, made up of alternating hard limestone and marl, provide limited water supply, allowing the vines to concentrate their full potential in the fruit (yield: 25 hl/ha).
This blend comes from a selection of the estate’s finest parcels.Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation under strict temperature control (kept below 25°C), with daily extraction and homogenisation techniques such as pump-overs, rack-and-returns, and cap punch-downs.
Ageing: For 12 months, divided between 80% in stainless steel vats and 20% in French oak barrels, striking a balance between fruit purity and aromatic complexity.
