Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and crisp

The nose is open and exotic, with citrus aromas and a touch of iodine, fresh with a hint of passion fruit.

The attack is supple, with a small body and character, balanced but fairly thin, highlighting citrus notes.

The finish is sapid and crisp, with medium persistence, marked by saline and mineral notes.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • CASA DI FLO

Corsica, a true mountain in the sea, is caressed by the sea breezes. It is thanks to this unique environment that the island produces wines of great distinctiveness, made from blends of both Corsican and international grape varieties.

The grapes come from carefully selected properties, located on the finest terroirs on the eastern coast of Corsica.

Viticulture: The producers, deeply committed to respecting the terroir and the vine, constantly seek the original expression of each grape variety.

Winemaking: The pressing is carried out at low temperatures, and the first juices are carefully selected. The wine is then aged and fermented cold, thus preserving its freshness and aromatic expression.
