Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Dark purple colour, lovely frank nose with floral notes of lilac, fruity notes of black fruits au gratin, liquorice notes, spicy notes, nice balance on a frank, round, full-bodied wine, with a hint of sweetness, finesse, nice character on fruits and a hint of pepper, hint of gingerbread, the tannins are quite dense and ripe, nice greedy lengthening.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
Very established in Bourgogne, the trading houses play a primary role in the commercialisatio of the wine. Thee houses are formed of experts which establish contracts with vine growers in order to buy their harvests. The wine is then vinified then marketed by the merchant. This job requires advanced knowledge of viticulture so that only the best plots are selected. The trading houses are often passed down from generation to generation.
