Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Dark garnet color with brick reflections, opaque and shiny. Open nose with notes of black fruits, black pepper and liquorice. On the palate, supple attack, satiny tannins, character with notes of mocha and undergrowth, a hint of candied pepper. Satin finish, racy, tension, balance, lingering on spices and black fruit gratin.

 

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

HVE Certification: This environmental certification, created and supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, aims to promote the value of production from farms that voluntarily commit to environmentally friendly approaches. Initiated in 2011, it is a global approach to environmental preservation which does not certify the quality of a product but the environmental quality of an agricultural structure.

    •     Terroir & viticulture: Selection of plots within the Bordeaux appellation. A region with a very sunny and not very rainy climate, with rich soils, allowing a diversity of terroirs for a greater aromatic palette.
       
    •     Vinification & Maturing: Traditional vinification with temperature control. Total de-stemming. Fermentation with regular pumping over. Maceration for 15 to 20 days.
