Fruity and well-rounded
Garnet colour, frank nose of morello cherry coulis, pepper, a hint of toast, good balance on a medium body, frank, small character with notes of burnt caramel, roasting and boxwood, soft and supple tannins.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation
Château La Tour de Bessan
Second wine of Château La Tour de Bessan, it benefits from all the care given to the first wine. It is at the beginning of the maturing process that their paths separate, as it is mainly matured in stainless steel vats to preserve the freshness of the fruit. The grape varieties and rootstocks are adapted to each of the property's terroirs. In 2012, the introduction of Petit Verdot increases the diversity of the grape varieties.
VINIFICATION AND MATURING: Traditional, adapted to each parcel. Matured in vats for 12 months.
