With its dark purple hue, this wine offers a frank nose, on aromatics, fresh spices. It then opens with candied currants, blackcurrant, notes of light, expressive roasting. On the palate, full-bodied attack of full, frank lengthy balance, of the envelope. Round tannins, character on spices and roasted black fruits, candied morello cherries, nice frank final persistence and medium persistence, it will evolve over the years.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Domain and appellation
The parcels destined for this exceptional cuvée come from a Miocene croup, located on the unique and restricted locality named "La Forge" by the land registry. The blending of the two grape varieties gives this cuvée its unique character. The Villemajou property is the historical cradle of Gérard Bertrand's family. The remarkable quality of this cuvée lies in the exceptional quality of the grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand in the traditional way. The wines are then placed in 225 litre Bordeaux barrels in our cellar for a period of approximately 10 to 12 months. We select the best coopers, in order to adapt the choice of wood origins and type of toasting to the potential of each vintage. The wines are neither fined nor filtered before bottling; the bottles are then kept for 12 months before being sold.
