Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
Pink gold colour with silvery sheen. Straightforward nose with peach and apricot notes. Opens out onto small red berries and strawberries. Supple attack, well-balanced. Straightforward fruity lengthening, with tension. Clear, tart character. Clear and sapid finish. Good freshness.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Domain and appellation
The vines are mainly located in the Tautavel region, in the heart of the South of France, ideally situated in Roussillon between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. Grenache is the best grape variety for producing racy rosés. It expresses itself fully thanks to the exceptional climate: low rainfall and optimum sunshine. When mature, it develops all its light and fruity aromas in a contemporary style. It is a great grape variety of the south of France. The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed directly. A rosé with an original profile, very pale pink in colour, with shades of grey and white.
