Our oenologists' opinion
Its garnet color offers an open and expressive nose of morello cherry, pepper and a hint of leather. On the palate, this wine presents an attack on red fruits and spices on ripe and coated tannins. Final on red fruits and pepper.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation
Domaine GuyonFounded by Antonin Guyon in the 1960s by a successive purchase of land stretching from Gevrey-Chambertin to Meursault, it is now owned by his son Dominique Guyon who holds the domain.
- Terroir: The GEVREY-CHAMBERTIN plots of the Domaine extend on clayey-limestone soils.
- Viticulture: Much attention is devoted to vineyards with full tillage. The harvest is manual, and transported in small crates.
- Vinification: The wine is vinified in wooden vats and then aged in oak barrels (15% new).
