Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
The nose is frank and delicious, with aromas of red berries, redcurrants and a touch of pomelo.
The attack is taut, providing suppleness and fine balance, with a lovely fresh citrus character.
This is a delicious wine, with medium persistence and a taut, sapid finish, light and fresh, ideal as an aperitif.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
Succumbing to the temptation of bunches of grapes from the Saint Mont appellation, the slightly roguish devil disguised himself as a winemaker.

PLAIMONT
Forty hectares are cultivated on sandy-clay and clay-loam soils.
The plots are selected for their north-west exposure, which is diabolically favourable for enhancing the aromatic expression of the red grapes, which are then used to make rosé wine.
