Fruity and crisp

The open, straightforward nose reveals a lovely aromatic intensity, carried by notes of grapefruit and redcurrant, accompanied by a hint of amyl and harlequin candy.

 

The supple attack gives way to a lovely freshness and delicate tension, providing a sensation of light envelopment.

 

The sapid, tangy finish, though short and classic, is seductive in its simplicity and balance.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

    Pinot Gris thrives in Pays d’Oc, particularly in the cooler regions of Occitanie.

     

    The influence of the dry, temperate Atlantic winds meets the humid, warm Marin Languedocien winds, shaping the marl and molasse soils with clay-limestone subsoils.

     

    These conditions allow for optimal grape ripening, resulting in refined and well-balanced wines. A carefully selected group of vineyard plots in the northwest of Pays d’Oc is closely monitored daily by Maison Castel, ensuring the perfect harvest timing.
