Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose, discreet at first, slowly opens up, after a veil of reduction, to notes of black fruit, as if held in the shadows, offering a still veiled promise.
The attack is taut and straightforward, with a delicate, almost ethereal body.
There are aromas of red fruit syrup and grenadine, carried by a greedy freshness and an assertive simplicity.
The finish is taut, light and straightforward, with an ease of approach that makes this an accessible and charming wine, to be drunk without artifice, for immediate pleasure.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

DOMAINE LA CABANETTE
Domaine La Cabanette is owned by Chantal and Jean-Philippe Bertoncino.
Chantal, who also serves as vice-president of the cooperative, was the first female winegrower in the appellation to adopt organic farming, as early as 2008.The vineyard covers all three key terroirs of the appellation: lauzes (limestone slabs), sand, and pebbles.
The estate is deeply committed to biodiversity, regularly carrying out reforestation initiatives within its plots. Most of the vines are trained in gobelet (bush vine) form, requiring manual harvesting for a significant part of the vineyard.
