Fruity and well-rounded

Dark ruby colour. Open, fruity nose of wisteria and sour cherries, hints of spices (pepper, cumin), good balance, full-bodied, fleshy, straightforward, with finesse and lovely fruit. Soft, supple tannins, good finish.

Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Domain and appellation

Domaine Ortola

Hélène and Nelson's grandparents arrived at Le Quatourze in 1962. They immediately fell in love with the estate. Their son, Georges, joined them in 1983 and expanded the estate. Finally, Hélène and Nelson joined their parents Georges and Suzanne in 2013. It's been a real family adventure ever since.
