Domain and appellation

  • Schieferkopf is a new discovery from the terroirs of Alsace and Germany.

     

    On the French side, the estate, which is organically farmed, is situated on Alsace’s only vein of blue schist.

     

    On both sides of the Rhine, the vines benefit from maximum sunshine and a mosaic of complex soils, lending subtlety to the grape varieties.
