Powerful bouquet

Orange colour with copper highlights. Open, spicy nose with notes of white pepper, lemon juice and a hint of starch. Full-bodied attack, fleshy, well-crafted. Character with candied citrus fruit and sweet spices. The finish is full-bodied, frank and ample, with notes of white pepper and candied orange.

Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Domain and appellation

mas de la rouvière

Château la Rouvière in Le Castellet, the oldest vines and a unique exhibition. The estate is located in the South-East of France, in the Provence region, between Marseille and Toulon. Our wines owe their character to Mourvèdre, the noble grape variety of Bandol. The vines are cultivated entirely by hand and in organic farming.
