Our oenologists' opinion
Well-rounded
Dark garnet colour with brick tints, dense, opaque and brilliant; open nose with notes of mocha, roasted plums and black cherry; supple, velvety attack with notes of peony, cocoa and pepper; small length to be increased on redcurrant and cocoa, spicy touch, to be aged.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

RESERVE MOUTON CADET
Created in 1930 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Mouton Cadet wines reflect the diversity and richness of the Bordeaux terroir through a wine accessible to all.
- Terroir: The harvests come from the whole of the Bordeaux terroir thanks to a unique partnership with more than 450 winegrowers spread over more than 1200 hectares.
- Viticulture: These long-standing partnerships allow for a top-of-the-range plot selection. The winegrowers are bound to the requirements of Mouton Cadet by the specifications.
- Vinification: Combining modernity and technicality, the blending of the different flagship grape varieties of the Bordeaux region is precise and aims to maintain the typical blackcurrant note. The incorporation of a water treatment plant using reeds allows Mouton Cadet to extend its so-called eco-responsible practices.
