Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
Brick colour with garnet highlights. Open nose of stewed fruit, liquorice, notes of black cherry syrup. Good balance on a rather warm wine, frank character with bouquet notes of candied fruits, cocoa and caramel. Supple tannins, clean and fairly taut finish.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Château Latour Camblanes
Spread over 40 hectares, Château Latour Camblanes offers a breathtaking view over the Garonne valley. This Bordeaux wine from the Entre-deux-Mers region, acquired in 1980 by the Castel family, bears the Côtes-de-Bordeaux appellation.
Terroir: Ideally situated on hillsides, the 30 hectare vineyard is planted on clay-limestone soils. Each hectare consists of 7,200 vines.
Viticulture: Ideal geological and meteorological conditions allow the harvesting of perfectly ripe fruit. Special care is taken with the vines during the harvest, the method of which is adapted to the vintage.
Vinification: Under the guidance of specialist Alain Reynaud, the wine undergoes long alcoholic and malolactic fermentations and post-fermentation maceration before maturing in oak barrels for 12 months. -
