Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is frank and expressive, revealing a spicy palette marked by notes of candied pepper, before opening out onto ripe, delicious blackcurrant, asserting its typical character.

The attack is supple and well-balanced, carried by a seductive roundness and silky tannins.

The long finish is straightforward and delicious, extending the richness of the blackcurrant coulis.

The long, lingering finish reveals subtle spicy notes, adding depth and depth to the whole.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

  • COMPLICES DE LOIRE

The vineyards are located on the sunny terraces of Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil, made up of gravel.

Winemaking is carried out traditionally in stainless steel tanks.

Before bottling, the wine must be aged for at least 6 months in a stainless steel tank.
