Our oenologists' opinion
Clear and brilliant golden straw-yellow colour with yellow gold sheen. Open nose, with notes of acacia honey, mango coulis and vanilla wood, melted butter. Round and greedy attack, on a woody, roasted, fat and greedy notes. Beautiful minerality. Sapid, rich finish. Ideal on a foie gras!
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

After the winter dormancy, the vines wake up under a clement weather. The beginning of the vegetative cycle suggests a good harvest potential, despite some run-off (failure of the flowers to turn into fruit). The return of the sun and the north wind, the signature of the month of September in Burgundy, offered the best conditions for the plots to reach full maturity. The Chardonnays are perfectly balanced. Their chiselled and precise character presages a good ageing potential.
