Fruity and crisp
Shiny ruby colour. Beautiful frank nose of peaches, morello cherries and raspberry. Good balance on a medium-bodied wine, small body, frank, finesse, nice character on red berries and a hint of minerality. Ripe tannins, quite supple, frank with a nice length, taut and sapid.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

The Domaine Pierre Laurent has been enganged in steps for an organic cultivation for 30 years. The vines are plowed and no weed killers or pesticides are used.

Ideal for red meat, game, marinated preparations as well as most cheeses. Served at 17°C-18°C. Young, one it one hour before serving, high age (5-10 years) do not hesitate to decant it: after disspiation of the first nose, you will find all the fruit.
