Fruity and well-rounded

Purple colour. The nose is frank, floral, with peony, opening up to blackcurrant coulis and pepper. Supple attack, tension and balance. Frank length, character on aromas of red fruit coulis, fresh spices, floral note. Good balance of the envelope. Frank and typical finish. Good persistence.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Matured, selected and packaged in our cellars, our wines are made exclusively from grapes grown by the winegrowers who are members of our cooperative and have been bottled on the property since 1939.

Founded in 1939, our winery is spread over 9 communes representing 250 hectares. Method of vinification: destemmed harvest. Pressing, cold settling, alcoholic fermentation at 16°C. Tangential filtration.
