Powerful bouquet

The nose is open and distinctive, revealing a beautiful oxidative intensity, marked by aromas of walnuts, cinnamon and cloves, enhanced by warm spices such as curry and paprika.

 

 On the palate, the lively attack sets the tone for a full-bodied, racy wine, which stretches out with balance over notes of walnut kernels, leather and assertive complexity.

 

The delicate finish leaves a subtle impression, without heaviness, underlining the wine's singular personality.

    This prestigious and exceptional wine is made from Savagnin grapes grown on Lias marl soils.

     

    Aged for over 6 years under a natural veil of yeast (sous voile, without topping up), it reveals intense aromas of walnut, spices, and mushrooms.

     

    A wine with outstanding aging potential (up to 50 years), it pairs beautifully with aged Comté cheese, morel mushroom chicken, or spiced dishes featuring curry or saffron.
