Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

A&M QUENARD
The André and Michel Quenard vineyard is a family estate established in its current form in 1976, though its tradition of viticulture and winemaking dates back to the 17th century. Today, Guillaume, Michel’s son and André’s grandson, carries on this expertise.
It is on the famous Torméry hillside, renowned throughout the ages, which adorns the rocky Chignin mountain, that our family estate produces a range of white, red and rosé wines of incomparable originality under the appellations ‘Vin de Savoie Chignin’ and ‘Chignin Bergeron’.
The vines are planted at an altitude of 300 metres and rise to 400 metres, with a gradient of 40 to 70 per cent. All work in the vineyard, right up to the harvest, is carried out by hand, and vinification is traditional.
This demanding, common-sense and nature-friendly approach to viticulture produces authentic wines full of character. Our vintages reveal the terroir and grape variety in all their purity and elegance.
