Fruity and well-rounded

Dark garnet colour with brick tints, dense, brilliant; open nose, quite vegetal, with notes of pepper and undergrowth, hints of bark and mocha; firm attack, tight tannins to be aired; firm finish, a bitterness to patinate.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

CHATEAU LE REY SUD

Château Le Rey Sud is a member of the "Nature et Bordeaux" charter, which encourages a very low frequency of treatment, natural grassing of the vineyard, cultivation without herbicides or insecticides and the use of grape seeds as organic fertiliser. This very pretty Bordeaux Supérieur will be a delightful accompaniment to grilled meats, dishes cooked in sauce and platters of cold meats.
