Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
A clear, bright wine with a yellow colour and green highlights.
The nose is frank and distinctive, dominated by aromas of citrus fruit, bergamot and yellow fruit, which then open up to floral touches of white flowers.
The attack is supple, providing a fine envelope and good balance.
The finish is clean and delicious, with a distinctive character.
The wine lingers moderately, leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

LES JAMELLES
Since 1991, Les Jamelles has been a unique collection of artisan varietal wines from the Pays d’Oc. This VIOGNIER is sourced partly from the Hérault, between Béziers and Montpellier, and from the Aude Valley, south of the Minervois, near the town of Carcassonne.
Terroir: The upper Aude Valley shares many similarities with the northern Rhône Valley, the birthplace of the Viognier grape. It enjoys a sunny climate, with regular rainfall thanks to the nearby Cévennes and Pyrenees mountains, helping to avoid drought. The limestone soils, rich in pebbles, and the altitude help maintain cool night-time temperatures.
Vinification: Early harvesting. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures (15–18°C) to preserve maximum fruit and freshness. The wine is then aged for several months on fine lees to develop its distinct floral aromas. No malolactic fermentation.
