Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is rather discreet at first, offering notes of prunes, before opening up to aromas of spices.
The attack is full-bodied, supported by fat tannins and good tension, with a character marked by hints of milk chocolate and mocha.
The finish is greedy, dominated by black fruit coulis and a hint of cocoa, with medium persistence.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

PUECH DU VIALA
The cellar created in 1937 has undergone multiple evolutions over the decades to closely match the tastes and expectations of consumers.
Today, around 150 winegrowers from Cessenon cultivate 750 hectares of vines spread across three terroirs: schists, alluvium, and clay-limestone soils in areas of garrigues and soubergues.
