Fruity and crisp

Her straw-colored clear, bright, clear straw color gives a nose on notes of lime. In the mouth this wine has a nice balance. Finish acidulous with finesse and a nice character.

    Domaine Joseph Mellot is a family and historical estate located in Sancerre, whose family origins go back 500 years. He has become over the generations the specialist of the great wines of the Center Loire thanks to his unique know-how.
     
     

    • Terroir: The vineyard is located south of Sancerre near Bourges and exposed on light hillsides. The soil is clayey-limestone on Kimmeridgian marls.
    • Viticulture: Engaged in sustainable development, the vineyard is conducted in reasoned agriculture..
    • Vinification: 100% destemming to obtain more flexibility and finesse. In order to extract the best juices, the method of direct pressing at low pressure is used. After a cold static settling, the fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats at low temperature.
