Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

DOMAINE DE LA MORDORÉE
Founded in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son Christophe, this family-owned estate now covers 42 hectares across several renowned Rhône Valley appellations: Tavel, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône and Condrieu.
Following the untimely passing of Christophe in 2015, his wife Madeleine Delorme and their daughter Ambre took over the estate, continuing his work and philosophy with commitment and sensitivity.
Driven by a deep love for the land, they chose to preserve the estate to which Christophe devoted his life, with one clear goal: to craft the finest wines possible, always with respect for people, terroir and the living world.
