Jim Beam is in an indisputable class of its own since 1795. It is now the best selling in the US and around the world.
- Distillery: This whisky is made in a distillery in Clermont, north of the State of Kentucky.
- Manufacturing: The Jim Beam Black is made from a corn mixture (minimum 51%), rye and malted barley. The distillation takes place at a maximum temperature of 80°, which allows a better conservation of flavours. It then has an exceptional aging of 6 years, while the appella-tion Kentucky Straight Bourbon, requires a minimum of 2 years in barrels of new oak previ-ously burned (the law prohibits re-using).
