Our oenologists' opinion
Its amber colour and honeyed aroma brings out notes of caramel and tobacco. As for the taste, the vanilla flavour is gradually fading, giving way to a wooded and toasted long finish, that is elegant and balanced.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation
Jim Beam, the best selling in the US and in the world, is in an indisputable class of its own since 1795. This whisky is made in a distillery in Clermont, north of the State of Kentucky.
- Manufacturing: It is made from a corn mixture (minimum 51%), rye and malted barley. The distillation takes place at a maximum temperature of 80°, which allows a better conservation of flavours. It then has an exceptional aging of 6 years, while the appella-tion Kentucky Straight Bourbon, requires a minimum of 2 years in barrels of new oak previ-ously burned (the law prohibits re-using).
