Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is straightforward and delicious, revealing notes of brioche and butter, which open up to aromas of citrus fruit and white flowers.

 

On the palate, the attack is supple, with a pleasant roundness.

 

The wine is well-balanced and long-lasting, revealing flavours of white-fleshed fruit, acacia and citrus, with a hint of minerality.

 

The brioche notes add character.

 

The finish is supple, sapid and delicious.

    In 1931, the Cave des Vignerons de Buxy was born from the desire of winemakers from the Côte Chalonnaise to unite in order to vinify, age, and market their wines.

     

    Located in the heart of Burgundy’s vineyards, the Côte Chalonnaise expresses all its nuances.

     

    Vinification: Aging on fine lees, in vats and partly in barrels.

     

    Terroir: Steep slopes made up of marly limestone and clay, covered with tiny fossilized shells.
