Fruity and well-rounded

The straightforward, distinctive nose reveals a black fruit coulis, accompanied by spicy notes of plum and pepper, with a delicate floral touch.

The fleshy attack is full-bodied and well-balanced, leading to a long, delicious finish.

Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Established in 1960 on the terraces lining the right bank of the Rhône, in the Saint-Joseph AOP, Cave Saint-Désirat is one of the leading wine estates, producing Saint-Joseph AOP, Condrieu AOP, and Vins de Pays d'Ardèche.

The cooperative winery cultivates 430 hectares within the Saint-Joseph appellation.
