Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is frank and expressive, revealing notes of candied yellow fruit and warm apple, then opening up to aromas of candied citrus and pear.
The attack is supple, combining roundness, tension and beautiful balance.
The palate is frank and delicious, seducing with its lovely character full of finesse, without heaviness.
The finish is harmonious and persistent, prolonging the tasting with elegance and freshness.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
Produced entirely from the Spiegel Grand Cru vineyard, our Pinot Gris Vendange Tardive is grown on our hillsides (between 260 and 315 metres above sea level) on east-facing marl and sandstone soil.
