Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful wine with potential

The nose is clean and distinctive, dominated by floral aromas that give way to notes of white-fleshed fruits and exotic fruits.

The attack is supple, characterised by lovely freshness and good balance.

The palate reveals tension and a character marked by white flowers and pomelo.

The finish is rich, harmonious and full of character, leaving a pleasant sensation of freshness.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • MOSCATO

Moscato is one of the oldest grape varieties grown in Piedmont, Italy.

The vineyards are situated in the Monferrato hills at 450 metres above sea level in a temperate climate with variable daily temperatures and low annual rainfall.

The grapes are grown entirely on well-drained slopes containing marine deposits. Located just 40 km from the sea, the area enjoys a temperate climate with a Mediterranean influence.
