Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is frank and distinctive, marked by baked black fruits, garrigue and herbs, in an open and generous style.


The attack is supple, bringing roundness and beautiful balance.

 

The palate develops a strong character of black fruit coulis, with lovely finesse.

 

The whole is quite full-bodied and rich, supported by rich tannins.

 

The finish is supple, without harshness, with good persistence.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation

    In 1929, a small group of winegrowers came together with a clear vision for the future: to protect viticultural interests, work towards obtaining an appellation of origin, and promote the wines of their village.

     

    Thus was founded the cooperative of Cairanne already boasting over 90 years of history, driven by a strong sense of collective commitment and respect for the land.

     

    Today, the Cave de Cairanne stands as a modern and leading player in the Rhône Valley, bringing together nearly 1,200 hectares of vineyards and embodying the successful balance between tradition, expertise and forward-looking ambition.
