Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is clean and rich, characterised by aromas of black and red berries redcurrant, blueberry and cherry enhanced by a hint of citrus juice, with subtle notes of roasted coffee and blond tobacco.

 

The attack is supple, characterised by a lovely balance and a pleasant roundness.

 

On the palate, it develops a rich character that faithfully echoes the nose, with medium body and a harmonious structure.

 

The finish is of medium length, with a supple and rich finish that leaves a fruity and elegant impression.

Features

Domain and appellation

  • DOMAINE DE LA CLAPIÈRE

    A typical Languedoc estate, Domaine de la Clapière is situated in the commune of Montagnac, near Pézenas.

     

    It benefits from alluvial terraces that combine gravelly, well-drained areas with outcrops of rock and a mosaic of grape varieties.

     

    Its cool terroir, covering 38 hectares, lends the estate’s wines a lovely tension.
