Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is open, fruity and indulgent, marked by exotic notes, white peach and a hint of candied lemon, bringing freshness and liveliness.

The attack is full-bodied and generous, with volume, beautiful finesse and a successful balance.

The wine expresses a sunny profile, but without ever becoming heavy.

The finish is aromatic, carried by white peach and notes of candied lime, enhanced by a mineral touch and a crispness that pleasantly prolongs the tasting experience.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • DOMAINE DE LA CLAPIÈRE

Domaine de la Clapière – A Fresh Languedoc Expression

A quintessential Languedoc estate, Domaine de la Clapière is located in the commune of Montagnac, near Pézenas.

The vineyard stretches across 38 hectares of alluvial terraces, blending well-drained gravel soils, exposed bedrock, and a mosaic of grape varieties.

This cool terroir brings vibrancy and tension to the wines, making them both refreshing and full of character.

Food pairings: perfect with grilled or steamed fish and green vegetables, or enjoy it as a unique match with a crisp fennel salad.
