Powerful bouquet

Brick colour with garnet tints. Nose with woody notes, then candied fruit, stewed fruit. Good balance, frank, vinous, fleshy. Character with notes of roasting, mocha, dried fruit, tannins that melt, good length.

Features

Domaine Berthoumieu

Domaine Berthoumieu is located between Gascony and Bearn, in the heart of the homeland of the famous Musketeers of Louis XIV. It is Charles de Batz who inspired the character of d'Artagnan. This wine "Constance" refers to his lady of heart. In his image, this wine has character. Its flattering aromas of black fruit enhanced by a hint of spice linger on the palate and accompany the velvety tannins. This cuvée is a modern interpretation of Madiran designed for immediate pleasure.
