Well-rounded

The open, slightly alcoholic nose reveals notes of dark chocolate, plum and patchouli, with a hint of iron oxide adding complexity.

 

The attack is supple and satiny, with good tension, full-bodied tannins and good balance, enhanced by a subtle floral touch.

 

The warm, spicy finish lingers on notes of brambles and a slight bitterness, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of fresh violets and spices.

Features

Domain and appellation

    The Domaine de Goumarre is cultivated on diverse soils. One part is located on a siliceous soil, bringing softness, another on a grey clay soil, providing roundness, and the last on a red clay soil mixed with pebbles, offering beautiful complexity.

     

    The harvest is carried out manually, with a meticulous sorting of the grapes directly in the vineyard. With a controlled yield of 30 to 35 hl/ha, this estate stands out for its authenticity and high-quality standards.
