Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is straightforward, revealing aromas of candied red fruit, blackcurrant coulis and redcurrant, which then open up to notes of fresh spices, herbs and a touch of violet.

The attack is supple, with a lovely roundness and perfect balance, offering a greedy character on candied red fruit.

The finish is vinous, with good persistence.

Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Domain and appellation

DOMAINE DE LA GRAND'RIBE

The 100 hectares of Domaine GRAND RIBE stretch across three neighbouring communes: Saint-Cécile-les-Vignes, Rochegude, and Suze-la-Rousse, at the foot of Mont-Ventoux, on the road to Bollène.

Our vineyards grow on various soil types, either clay-limestone soils composed of small gravel or sandy soils, giving each cuvée its own complexity.

Regarded as one of the pioneers of organic farming in the Rhône Valley, Domaine GRAND RIBE now has extensive experience and profound expertise in its agricultural practices and winemaking methods, which can be felt in the character of its cuvées and organic wines.
