Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
The nose is frank and delicately floral, expressing notes of acacia and jasmine, accompanied by a touch of honey and a beautiful aromatic balance.
It then opens up to fresh citrus fruits, enhanced by a hint of saltiness.
The attack is supple and fresh, carried by a harmonious balance.
The palate is frank and indulgent, offering an elegant length with a salty and tangy finish and a refreshing persistence.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
The wines are vinified in a former 12th-century church. Unique in France!

CHÂTEAU D'EPIRÉ
Located on the hills above Epiré, Château d’Epiré has been passed down from father to son since 1882.
It is the oldest family-owned estate in the Savennières appellation. The vineyard, covering approximately 12 hectares, is established on the highest slopes of the Savennières appellation, within the village of Epiré.
The vines are grown under ideal conditions: overlooking the Loire, the vineyard fully benefits from a south-eastern exposure on schist soils.Wine ageing is carried out on lees, in small stainless-steel tanks, in order to preserve the wine’s purity and natural tension.
The cellar, perfectly located, is housed in a 12th-century Romanesque church, converted into a wine cellar in 1906.
This remarkable setting provides ideal natural conditions for wine ageing, with temperature and humidity naturally regulated throughout the year, thanks to the thick stone walls. -
