Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Light yellow colour with a green tint. Clear nose of fresh almonds, acacia, brioche, vanilla and candied yellow fruit. Supple attack of the body, of the envelope. Frank buttery length, nice acidulous character, nervous. Lengthening on frangipane aromas. Frank and persistent finish.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

AU PIED DU MONT CHAUVE
"From the Earth to the Bottle, my objective is to obtain highly precise plot-based wines while working to preserve our environment and our raw material: the vine. Francine Picard A great classic, born of a singular year achieved in complicated conditions and context for all, marked by a historic earliness. The result is absolutely exceptional and remarkably classic! The particular conditions of this vintage have produced unprecedented and quite unique balances. The white wines are fruity and express a beautiful aromatic complexity, with very good acidity. The vines are managed biodynamically. Natural grassing of the soil and mechanical work. The vines are pruned in simple guyot with long canes and disbudded every other eye, so that the bunches end up nice and airy. Aged for 15 months, including 12 months in wood (30% new barrels).
