Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Dark garnet colour. Lovely open nose of black fruit, green leather and dried banana. Good balance on a frank, full-bodied wine, lovely signature character with aromas that extend the nose, fresh notes of green leather. The tannins are fairly ripe and tight, and the wine has a long, full-bodied finish.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

CASA DI FLO

Corsica, a mountain in the sea, is rocked by the sea breezes. It is thanks to this that Corsica creates wines of great typicity, through blends of Corsican and international grape varieties. The grapes come from carefully selected properties, located on the best territories of the east coast of Corsica. Viticulture: The producers are attached to the respect of the soil and the vine. They are constantly seeking the original expression of each grape variety. Vinification: Fermentation is carried out in the traditional way, in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.
