Powerful bouquet

The nose is expressive, marked by notes of roasted figs, stewed black fruits, with a floral hint and touches of milk caramel.


The attack is tense, revealing notes of milk caramel and black fruits, still underscored by a floral hint.

 

The palate offers tension, a beautiful envelope, firm tannins and a controlled balance.


The finish is sapid, prolonged by notes of caramel.

Features

Domain and appellation

  • DOMAINE DE ROCHEFOLLE

    Grown on a terroir of weathered pink granite and well-draining granitic sands, with a south to south-east exposure, this wine delivers elegance, freshness and depth.

     

    The vineyard is managed under sustainable practices, HVE certified, and planted with 70-year-old Gamay vines, all hand-harvested.

     

    Vinification follows a traditional semi-carbonic maceration, with 75% destemming, an 8-day maceration period, and carefully controlled temperatures.

     

    Ageing in tanks preserves the purity of the fruit, resulting in a Brouilly that is fruity, rounded, and refined, with fine tannins and a clear expression of its pink granite terroir.
