CHÂTEAU FILHOT
Founded in 1709 by Romain de Filhot, a counsellor to the Parliament of Bordeaux, Château Filhot has been passed down through generations to its current owner, Count Henri de Vaucelles.
The estate’s 62 hectares of vineyards, along with the château grounds, lie on the southern slope of the Sauternes hill, a prime location behind its renowned sweet wines.
Famous for its wines, Château Filhot is also celebrated for its magnificent English-style park, designed in 1845 by landscape gardener Louis-Bernard Fischer, offering an exceptional setting where history, nature and elegance meet.
