Fruity and crisp

White gold colour with green reflections, clear and brilliant, open nose with citrus fruits, a hint of herbs, peppermint, a hint of iodine; sapid attack with yuzu and sweetness, notes of candied lemon, fresh ginger; spicy finish, good length on yuzu

Caractéristiques

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Le saviez-vous ?

Wakaze can be defined as a young sake brewery. Even with years of experience, we are still learning. This new era of craft sake is all about experimentation and curiosity.

Le domaine et l'appellation

  • YUZU SAKÉ

    We wanted to offer a less sweet aperitif, so we created the "no added sugar" YUZU SAKE using yuzu from Eus, one of the most beautiful villages in the south of France. It brings out freshness and acidity with a slight bitterness, the addition of mint gives complexity to the flavour.
