Powerful bouquet
Mahogany colour with bronze highlights. The nose is open, spicy, powerful, full-bodied, with notes of caramel nuts, roasted plum and milk chocolate, a hint of vanilla syrup and black pepper. Round, greedy, ample attack, with notes of chilli, roasted wood and candied plum, full-bodied, powerful. Good length on chilli and caramel, good balance, racy, good persistence.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

RAMOS PINTO
Founded in 1880 by Adriano Ramos Pinto, Ramos Pinto has been part of the Roederer Group since 1990.
Terroir: Located in the Douro region, Ramos Pinto owns 360 hectares of vineyards, located on granite soils.
Winemaking: A blend of different Port wines from the Ramos Pinto estates, which have spent several decades in casks in the Ramos Pinto cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.
