Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and crisp

IPA N°1 is an India Pale Ale brewed with rye.
Hops: French, American and German, give it a fruity aroma and a resinous finish. The rye used during brewing gives it great length in the mouth and a silky texture.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation

  • Brasserie Toussaint opened in May 2016 in Louveciennes, two kilometers from Versailles. We offer several recipes that are intended to appeal to as many people as possible. We make it a point of honor to create simple recipes that most often showcase French hops! We brew and bottle as a family in our own brewery.
We carefully choose our products as close as possible to the brewery, in order to convey to consumers the true pleasure of a craft and local beer.
